Eden Road Cullarin Block 71 Pinot Noir 2023 is a captivating Canberra District red from winemaker Celine Rousseau, sourced from 50-year-old Lake George vines first planted in 1971. With a small Pinot Meunier component, it combines fragrant red fruit, gentle spice and mineral finesse in a wonderfully distinctive cool-climate style.
Wild strawberry, cherry and kirsch burst from the glass, joined by rhubarb, morello cherry, fresh herbs and aromatic Middle Eastern spice. The Eden Road 2023 Cullarin Block 71 Pinot Noir is medium-bodied and beautifully supple, with fine, soft tannins, lively natural acidity and a persistent mineral line driving its elegant finish.
Serve this graceful Canberra Pinot Noir with roast duck, seared salmon, pork cutlets, mushroom risotto or charcuterie. Its bright red-fruit profile and savoury spice make it brilliant with richer poultry and earthy dishes, while the fine structure brings enough polish for a special dinner or patient cellaring.
