XO Wine Co Barbera 2023 is a vibrant, small-batch Adelaide Hills red from Kuitpo and Ashton, built around Barbera’s naturally juicy fruit, lively acidity and easy-going charm. A touch of whole bunch gives this Italian-inspired variety extra savoury spice and structure, making it seriously delicious at the table.

Fresh raspberry, red cherry and cherry cola leap from the glass, followed by gentle peppery spice and an elegant savoury lift. The XO Wine Co Adelaide Hills Barbera 2023 spends 21 days on skins and eight months in new and seasoned Austrian oak, delivering bright fruit, fine tannins and a crisp, refreshing finish.

Serve XO Wine Co Barbera 2023 with wood-fired pizza, spaghetti Bolognese, grilled sausages, eggplant parmigiana, lamb skewers or mushroom pasta. Its crunchy acidity slices through tomato-based dishes and richer meats beautifully, while the juicy red-fruit profile makes it a cracking red to serve slightly chilled on warm evenings.
