Piazzo Armando Barbera d’Alba Superiore Mugiot 2024 is a focused, small-production Piedmontese red from the Piazzo family’s Mugiot vineyard in Alba, where low-yielding Barbera vines deliver exceptional concentration and terroir expression. Aged in barriques for more than a year, it is a polished, savoury Italian red with bright fruit, mineral detail and real finesse.

Wild berries, ripe cherry and red plum lead the aromas, lifted by violet, spice, balsamic notes and a whisper of oak. The 2024 Piazzo Mugiot Barbera d’Alba Superiore is rich yet vibrant, with juicy acidity, silky tannins and a mineral-driven core. Blackcurrant and dark cherry deepen the palate, while the long, soft finish carries subtle spice and a beautifully polished savoury edge.
