Triple Creek GSM

Triple Creek GSM 2022 is a cracking Barossa Valley blend from Triple Creek Winery in Seppeltsfield, marrying estate-grown Shiraz and Mataro with neighbouring Grenache. Originally destined for the blending bench, it stood out in barrel on its own, delivering vibrant fruit, spice and a deliciously smooth Barossa finish.

Spiced plum, red berries and cherry come through with savoury notes, subtle vanilla and a creamy thread of oak. The palate is medium-bodied, plush and energetic, with bright fruit concentration, soft tannins and enough structure to keep it tidy. Triple Creek GSM 2022 is generous without getting heavy-handed.

Pair this Barossa GSM with rosemary lamb shoulder, grilled sausages, smoky pork ribs or a roasted vegetable tart. The juicy red fruit loves char and spice, while its velvety texture neatly handles richer sauces and slow-cooked meats. It is drinking beautifully now, though it has the balance to cellar for up to a decade.
