Stargazer Riesling 2025 from Tasmania’s Coal River Valley is a beautifully balanced wine that hovers between dry and off-dry with precise control of acidity and residual sugar. It shows a fragrant and perfumed nose displaying green apple, grapefruit, yuzu, lime, and apple blossom aromas. On the palate, the wine is textural with vibrant natural acidity, layered fruit, and excellent definition, reflecting the purity and cool-climate character of its origin. This expression by winemaker Samantha Connew has been praised for its finesse, balance, and aromatic complexity, scoring 93 points from the Halliday Wine Companion. It is a standout 2025 release for Riesling lovers seeking nuanced and elegant Australian cool-climate whites.
