Praeter Strange Fog Nebbiolo 2024 is a captivating Pyrenees red from Praeter, crafted from Malakoff Vineyard fruit into a fragrant, classically styled Nebbiolo with remarkable clarity. It is all about aromatic lift, red-fruit purity and beautifully layered tannin – a serious wine that still feels lively and inviting.

Rose petal, orange rind, red cherry and raspberry lead, followed by pomegranate, strawberry, twiggy herbs and warm spice. Leather, terracotta, bay leaf and a faint smoky earthiness bring savoury depth, while Praeter Strange Fog Nebbiolo 2024 finishes long and mouth-watering, held by bright acidity and ultra-fine, chewy tannins.

Decant Praeter Strange Fog Nebbiolo 2024 for mushroom risotto, duck ragù, porchetta or slow-braised beef cheeks. Its fragrant fruit and firm structure are also superb with truffle pasta, roasted root vegetables and aged Parmigiano Reggiano. This is a cracking bottle for Italian-style feasting, with the bones to evolve beautifully in the cellar.
