Polperro Pinot Gris 2025 is a seriously refined Mornington Peninsula white from Red Hill producer Polperro, showing why Sam Coverdale’s wines are so prized for their savoury detail, coastal freshness and beautifully controlled richness.
Lifted citrus, coriander seed, nashi pear skin and beeswax rise from the glass, with subtle almond and nutty complexity underneath. The 2025 Polperro Pinot Gris is powerful yet precise, layering ripe pear, lime zest and crème pâtissière over briny acidity for a long, crisp and refreshing finish.
Serve this Mornington Peninsula Pinot Gris with grilled king prawns, roast chicken, crab linguine, pork schnitzel or a creamy mushroom tart. Its pear richness and sea-spray acidity make it brilliant with richer seafood and buttery dishes, while the energetic finish keeps every bite feeling fresh.
