Aptitude Connubio Dolcetto Sangiovese 2024 is a vibrant Adelaide Hills red from Greg Clack, bringing Dolcetto’s purple-fruit generosity together with Sangiovese’s savoury drive in a lively, lightly structured wine made for chilling and sharing. “Connubio” means union, and this Italian-inspired blend gets the balance spot on.
Red cherry, spiced plum and black cherry aromas are layered with mulberry, rosehip, cashew and sandalwood. Whole-bunch influence adds a subtle spicy, earthy and bunchy character, while fine tannins and bright acidity keep the Aptitude Connubio Dolcetto Sangiovese 2024 light on its feet, dry and impressively moreish.
