Font du Vent Les Promesses Côtes du Rhône Blanc 2024 from Domazan, just across the river from Châteauneuf‑du‑Pape, is a fragrant, sun‑drenched Rhône white that keeps its freshness nicely in check, making it a brilliant all‑rounder at the table. Domaine Font du Vent Cotes du Rhone Promises Blanc 2024 blends Viognier, Clairette, Grenache Blanc and Roussanne (with some references also noting Grenache Gris), fermented and aged around seven months in stainless steel and concrete to preserve lift and a fine mineral line.

In the glass, expect pale gold colour and a warm, inviting nose of peachy white stone fruit, floral notes, citrus and gentle tropical hints, with a touch of marzipan and pithy citrus peel adding extra interest. The palate is medium‑bodied and supple yet balanced, with ripe peach, apricot and citrus flavours carried by a discreet mineral thread and enough acidity to keep Les Promesses Côtes du Rhône Blanc 2024 feeling lifted rather than hot or heavy. It’s rounded, generous and quietly elegant.

Food‑wise, Font du Vent Les Promesses Côtes du Rhône Blanc 2024 is a natural with grilled prawns, roast chicken, Mediterranean vegetables and soft cheeses, where its stone‑fruit richness and floral lift play well with herbs and olive oil. It’s also excellent with creamy pasta, lightly spiced dishes or pumpkin‑based salads, making it a versatile Rhône white that works just as well as an aperitif as it does across a long, relaxed lunch.
