Hughes & Hughes Syrah 2024 from Tasmania is a cool-climate wine showcasing finesse and vibrancy. Made from fruit sourced equally from Brinktop vineyard in the Coal River Valley and Kinvarra vineyard in the Derwent Valley, it emphasizes purity of fruit and site expression with minimal intervention. The wine features ripe dark fruits balanced by savoury and spicy undertones, with a fresh acidity and elegant structure enhancing its age-worthiness. Predominantly whole berry fermented with 7-8% whole bunch and matured in older oak (10% new), it delivers a bright, aromatic, and mid-weight profile with herbal crunch and a silky, fresh finish. This Syrah is perfect for those seeking a sophisticated yet approachable cool-climate red.​
