The Merlot brings juicy dark cherry and plum; Syrah contributes peppery spice, black olive and a touch of smokiness. It’s medium-full-bodied, supple tannins underpin a lively acid line, while subtle salinity and minerality give a refreshing core. No added sulphites enhances its pure expression. Although international scores are scarce, this wine has won praise in niche organic and biodynamic wine circles for its vivacity and value. A superb wine for hearty fare or relaxed drinking.
