The Lake House Postcard Denmark Pinot Noir 2024 from The Lake House Denmark in Western Australia’s Great Southern is a bright, estate‑grown cool‑climate Pinot with elegance, perfume and fine‑boned structure. From the family’s karri‑loam vineyard, this is a deliciously detailed red that brings vibrant fruit and subtle French oak together with real finesse.
The nose lifts with red cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry, wrapped in an earthy, spicy cool‑climate note with hints of vanilla from French oak. The palate shows ripe berry and black cherry flavours, a juicy strawberry mid‑palate and a gentle flicker of aniseed. The Lake House Postcard Pinot Noir finishes long, finely textured and beautifully fresh.
This Lake House Denmark Postcard Pinot Noir is a cracker with duck breast, roast chicken, pork belly, salmon, mushroom risotto or truffle pasta. Its earthy savouriness also makes it a natural for charcuterie and soft cheeses.
