About this product

Meadowbank Pinot Noir 2024 is a silky, sophisticated red from Tasmania’s iconic Derwent Valley vineyard, where vines planted by Gerald Ellis in 1987 deliver exceptional fruit. This wine opens with vibrant aromas of strawberry, cherry, and raspberry, layered with subtle hints of thyme, sage, and violets. The palate is juicy and succulent with refined acidity, fine powdery tannins, and complex flavours of red berries, spice, dried flowers, and a touch of earthy mushroom. Aged in seasoned French oak for nine months, it balances freshness and depth with a long, spicy, elegantly structured finish. This 95-point release by winemaker Peter Dredge is perfect for pairing with red meat, mushrooms, or venison and will improve with another few years in the cellar.
