The MDI Sangiovese Rose has everything you expect from a Rose and much more.
With a pale salmon colour, the aromatics are light and delicate – rose, watermelon and raspberry. There is a nice interplay between the silky mouthfeel and the acidity, with is lively but not too searing on the palate. Having spent a year in tank on its lees, the wine is medium bodied and very enjoyable to drink, with a nice dry finish.
