About this product
Le Calendre Valpolicella Classico DOC 2024 is a vibrant Italian red from Le Calendre in Veneto’s historic Valpolicella Classico zone, blending Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara into a bright, savoury and effortlessly food-friendly expression.
Juicy cherry, wild strawberry and red plum lead the perfume, with violet, dried herbs, black pepper and a light earthy note adding regional character. The palate is medium-bodied and supple, showing fresh red berries, gentle spice and soft, fine tannins, all lifted by lively acidity and a clean, dry finish.
Serve Le Calendre Valpolicella Classico 2024 with pizza, tomato-based pasta, roast chicken, mushroom risotto or grilled pork sausages. Its red-fruit freshness and savoury edge make it a superb everyday Italian red, equally at home with a relaxed weeknight dinner or a generous antipasto spread.
