About this product
I Sodi Chianti Classico DOCG 2023 is an authentic Tuscan red from I Sodi in Gaiole in Chianti, where Andrea Casini and winemaker Marco Bernabei craft a poised blend of 93% Sangiovese and 7% Canaiolo Nero. It is a beautifully traditional Chianti with fresh fruit, savoury depth and real table appeal.
Sour cherry, red plum and wild raspberry rise with mammola violet, blood orange, dried oregano and sweet spice. I Sodi Chianti Classico 2023 is bright and juicy, its lively acidity wrapped around silky tannins, earthy savoury notes and a clean lick of wild liquorice through the finish.
Pour this Tuscan Chianti Classico with pasta al ragù, wood-fired pizza, grilled lamb cutlets or bistecca alla Fiorentina. Its crunchy acidity and firm structure are superb with tomato-based dishes, rosemary-roasted vegetables and pecorino, making it a seriously versatile red for Italian feasts.
