Frogmore Creek Pinot Noir 2024 (6 Bottles) Coal River Valley, TAS
About this product
Frogmore Creek Pinot Noir 2024 by Frogmore Creek in Tasmania’s Coal River Valley is a refined, magenta–crimson pinot that feels pure, cool and quietly serious in the glass. This Frogmore Creek Pinot Noir 2024 draws on slowly ripened, sustainably grown fruit to showcase bright Tasmanian elegance over sheer power.
In the glass you’ll find juicy dark cherry, blood plum and forest berries cut with spice, charcuterie, mushroom terrine, wildflowers, leaf litter and earthy notes that feel very Coal River. The palate is medium–bodied, savoury and finely structured, with silky yet drying tannins carrying red and dark berries, black tea, forest floor and a touch of clove and cedar through a long, powdery–mineral finish. It’s vibrant now but has the bones to evolve beautifully over the next 5–7 years.
On the table, this is a natural with roast duck, seared salmon, mushroom risotto or a simple roast chook, where its acidity and savoury line cut through richness effortlessly. It will also sit beautifully alongside charcuterie, soft cheeses or beetroot and goat’s cheese salad, making it a versatile Tasmanian pinot for everything from midweek pasta to more serious Sunday roasts.
