About this product
Cave de Tain Crozes-Hermitage ‘Nobles Rives’ Rouge 2023 is a finely tuned Northern Rhône Syrah, drawn from granite, loess and Rhône terrace soils around Crozes-Hermitage. Cave de Tain combines tank ageing with 40% large-format oak to retain bright fruit while building gentle spice, shape and serious drinkability.
Raspberry, plum and blackberry aromas are lifted by violet, peony, dried fruit and white pepper, with hints of eucalyptus and warm oriental spice. The Cave de Tain Nobles Rives 2023 is medium-bodied, silky and elegant, with ripe fruit, brisk freshness and supple tannins flowing through a long, savoury finish.
Pair Cave de Tain Crozes-Hermitage ‘Nobles Rives’ Rouge 2023 with grilled lamb cutlets, peppered steak, roast chicken, duck confit, charcuterie or mushroom gratin. It is superbly flexible at the table, offering the peppery fragrance and finesse of Rhône Syrah without excessive weight, and will reward three to five years in the cellar.
