About this product
Rowlee Syrah 2022 from Rowlee Wines in Orange, NSW, is a vibrant cool‑climate Shiraz that combines generous berry flavour with altitude‑driven freshness and finesse. Grown at 860 metres in Nashdale, this is an aromatic, approachable red with polish, energy and plenty of regional personality.
The nose is bursting with red and purple berries, raspberry, blueberry and boysenberry compote, lifted by a leafy note reminiscent of French pastille lollies. The palate is soft, full and round, layering juicy berry fruit with subtle toasty oak, fine pepper spice and supple acidity. Rowlee Syrah 2022 finishes fresh, bright and seriously moreish.
This Rowlee Syrah is spot‑on with lamb shawarma, chargrilled lamb cutlets, slow‑cooked beef cheeks, smoky eggplant or mushroom ragù. Its fruit‑forward character and gentle spice also make it a cracking choice for pizza, burgers and barbecue. Give it a quick decant, or pour it slightly cool, for an elegant Orange Shiraz that disappears very easily.
