In the glass, Heathcote Estate Single Vineyard Shiraz 2022 shows an inky, dark purple‑red colour with brooding aromatics of blackberry, black cherry and dark plum, layered with liquorice, black pepper, ironstone, earth and subtle smoky, cedary spice from French oak. The palate is full‑bodied and concentrated yet remarkably composed, packed with dark fruits, bracken and woody spice over fine, firm, velvety tannins and bright acidity that drive a long, mineral and pepper‑laced finish.

This Heathcote Estate Single Vineyard Shiraz 2022 half bottle is spot‑on with grilled rib‑eye, lamb shoulder, slow‑cooked beef cheeks, roast beetroot and mushroom dishes, or a stack of hard, aged cheeses where its structure and spice really shine.
