Picardy Pinot Noir 2022 from Pemberton is a beautifully perfumed, Burgundian‑inspired pinot with serious structure and charm. Expect hibiscus, rose petals, red cherry, satsuma plum and pomegranate, with hints of red bush tea, spice, cedar and a subtle earthy, truffley note. The palate is medium‑bodied but densely packed, silky and layered, with ripe red fruits, savoury undergrowth and very fine, svelte tannins driving a long, precise finish.

Picardy Pinot Noir 2022 is made from multiple pinot clones using traditional Burgundian methods – hand‑picking, cold soak, some whole bunches and French oak (including a portion new) to build shape and spice without heaviness. It’s already gorgeous in the glass, but the balance of fruit intensity, acid line and fine tannin means it will comfortably cellar 8–12 years. Decanting helps those floral and spice notes really unfold.
