About this product

Koerner Gamay 2025 is a thrilling Adelaide Hills red from Koerner Wine, drawn from the Deanery Vineyard at Balhannah, where sandy loam over sandstone and ironstone delivers bright, high-altitude detail. This is modern Australian Gamay with real finesse – vivid, light on its feet and seriously moreish.

Juicy cherry and wild strawberry lead the charge, layered with fragrant peony, rose petal and a flicker of pink peppercorn. Savoury earth, damp leaves and subtle chocolate notes bring complexity, while finely integrated oak frames the fruit without dulling its freshness. The 2025 Koerner Rouge Gamay is clean, energetic and beautifully poised.

Serve this Adelaide Hills Gamay lightly chilled alongside duck pancakes, charcuterie, grilled pork cutlets or mushroom risotto. Its vivid acidity and gentle tannin also make it a cracking match for wood-fired pizza and roast chicken. A polished yet playful red wine for lovers of Beaujolais-inspired Australian Gamay.
