About this product
Bicknell FC Applecross Pinot Noir 2024 from David Bicknell in the Yarra Valley is an electrifying, finely structured Pinot from old St Andrews vines, combining vivid red fruit, spice and whole-bunch perfume with the poise to age beautifully.
Wild strawberry, summer cherry, raspberry and rhubarb surge from the glass, layered with rose petal, lavender, sandalwood, star anise and a discreet earthy note. The palate is bright and tenderly plush, carrying red fruit compote, dried flowers and hoisin through fine tannins and lively acidity.
Bicknell FC Applecross Pinot Noir is brilliant alongside roast duck, crispy pork belly, grilled quail, mushroom ragù or miso-glazed salmon. Serve slightly cool in a generous glass and enjoy its perfumed complexity now, or cellar it for several years to deepen its savoury, forest-floor character.
