Stargazer Kura Shiraz Pinot Noir

Stargazer Kura Shiraz Pinot Noir 2024 is a co-fermented blend from Tasmania’s Coal River Valley, combining the richness of Shiraz with the bright lift of Pinot Noir. The Shiraz is destemmed and left as whole berries, while 50% of Pinot Noir is whole bunch fermented, with both parcels fermented together undisturbed before aging in old French oak puncheons. The wine presents a vibrant magenta-crimson color with aromatic notes of red plum, raspberry, roasted blueberries, dried cherries, and lifted violet florals, complemented by spicy undertones. On the palate, it is juicy, fresh, and approachable with fine-grained tannins and balanced acidity, reflecting precise winemaking with minimal intervention. It has been praised for its finesse, purity, and expression of site with a quality hallmark of the Stargazer label.
