Thompson Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, crafted by Alex Beckett in Margaret River, is a powerful yet refined expression of the region’s hallmark variety. Aromas of blackcurrant, mulberry, and violet are layered with hints of tobacco, graphite, and fine French oak. The palate is concentrated and structured, with ripe dark fruit, firm tannins, and bright acidity, supported by a distinctive gravelly mineral line. Awarded 96 points by Halliday Wine Companion, this Cabernet offers exceptional cellaring potential while retaining immediate appeal. Perfect with prime beef or aged cheddar, it is a benchmark Margaret River Cabernet, marrying intensity, elegance, and regional purity.
