About this product

Xavier Goodridge Avon Pinot Noir 2025 from the organically farmed Avon Vineyard in Maffra, Gippsland, is a wonderfully poised single-vineyard Pinot with cool-climate detail, bright fruit and serious finesse. Old MV6 vines planted in 1987 deliver depth and refinement without sacrificing the wine’s energetic, drinkable character.

Dark cherry and cranberry open the nose, layered with rose, cassia bark, ground nutmeg, black tea and a savoury flash of forest floor. Xavier Goodridge Avon Pinot Noir is silky and svelte, yet intense, carrying blood orange freshness, gentle spice and firm, grainy tannins through a long, mineral finish.

Serve this Gippsland Pinot Noir with duck breast, roast quail, pork belly or mushroom and thyme risotto. Its concentrated red fruit and bright acidity elevate richer dishes, while the fine savoury tannin makes it a smart match for charcuterie, hard cheeses and a long, unhurried dinner.
