Re-fermented on warm Amarone pomace for 12-13 days then aged 18 months in large Slavonian oak casks, this deep ruby red delivers greater complexity and body than standard Valpolicella. James Suckling rated the wine 93 points, praising its juicy tannins and solid centre palate.
