Built on Sangiovese from the Brolio estate, it has the depth, savoury complexity and fine tannin required of a serious Riserva, while remaining inviting enough to enjoy now.

Ripe cherry, plum and blackberry meet violet, dried herbs, tobacco, vanilla and dark chocolate. Ricasoli Brolio Riserva 2022 is warm, concentrated and firmly structured, with bright Tuscan acidity running beneath its generous dark fruit. Eighteen months in French oak tonneaux adds toast and spice, leading into a long, mineral, cherry-laced finish.

Decant this Chianti Classico Riserva for a proper match with bistecca alla Fiorentina, wild boar ragù, braised lamb shanks or porcini mushroom risotto.
