Provenance Ballarat Pinot Noir 2021 by Provenance Wines from Ballarat shows fragrant wild strawberry, red cherry and spice notes, matched with a complex earthy bouquet, while aromas of cedar and woodsmoke lift gently. The palate presents red- and blue-fruit characters across the mid- and back palate, deftly complemented by fine tannin and vibrant acid, finishing long, detailed and fresh. It was awarded 94 points by Jeni Port in the 2022 James Halliday Wine Companion.
