PepperGreen Estate Pinot Gris Single Vineyard 2023 is a richly textured Southern Highlands white from PepperGreen Estate in Canyonleigh, showing why cool-climate Pinot Gris can be far more than a simple summer sipper. It is a serious, silky wine with altitude-driven freshness and real flavour depth.
Dried tropical fruit, pineapple, ripe pear and a soft musk-like perfume rise from the glass, followed by pear, warm spice and gentle mineral detail. The 2023 PepperGreen Estate Pinot Gris Single Vineyard is broad and silky, with ripe fruit weight balanced by bright natural acidity and a smooth, persistent finish.
Serve this Southern Highlands Pinot Gris slightly warmer than fridge-cold with wild mushroom and parmesan risotto, creamy chicken dishes, roast pork or a washed-rind cheese.
