Nicolas Potel Premier Cru Chablis Côte de Léchet 2022 from Maison Nicolas Potel is a refined, powerful Chardonnay that brings smoky complexity, ripe yellow fruit and the taut mineral backbone expected from this prized Chablis Premier Cru site.
Roasted hazelnut, lemon, acacia and gentle smoke lift from the glass, before yellow peach, pastry cream and spice build through the palate. It is dense and mouth-filling but never heavy, with saline minerality and fresh acidity drawing the finish long and bright.
Nicolas Potel Chablis Premier Cru Côte de Léchet is a brilliant match for seared scallops, buttered lobster, roast chicken, tempura prawns or fresh goat’s cheese. Its tension and richness make it a standout choice when seafood dishes call for a more serious white Burgundy.
