White flowers, citrus and ripe orchard fruit rise first, followed by oyster shell, graphite and smoky flint. The palate is lively and precise, balancing concentrated fruit with crisp acidity, a savoury saline edge and impressive persistence. Nicolas Potel Chablis Premier Cru Vaucoupin shows serious terroir definition.
