Mada Nebbiolo Rosé 2025 (12 Bottles) Canberra Region, NSW
About this product
Mada Nebbiolo Rosé 2025 from Mullany Family Vineyard at Wombat near Young in the Hilltops is a pale, savoury‑leaning rosé that nails that crunchy, dry, food‑friendly style without losing any charm. This 2025 Mada Nebbiolo Rosé is grown on ancient red sands, shale and granite, giving a lovely mineral line that sits under watermelon slushy, smashed nectarine and a twist of orange rind on the nose.
On the palate it’s crisp and textural, with bright red fruits, blood orange, rosehip and a subtle tea‑like bitterness that brings real interest. Moderate pressings are included to pull a little Nebbiolo tannin into the blend, so you get a fine, lightly grippy finish that reins in the fruit and keeps everything dry, savoury and moreish rather than simple or sweet. It’s refreshing, quietly serious rosé that still feels effortless to drink.
Food‑wise, Mada Nebbiolo Rosé 2025 is a natural fit with antipasti, charcuterie, grilled prawns, salmon, tomato‑based pasta, wood‑fired pizza, mezze plates or roast chicken, where its crunch, gentle tannin and citrus‑tinged red fruits really sing. It’s also a great option for long lunches and picnics when you want something more characterful than your average pink wine but still incredibly smashable.
