Lunar Apoge Zero Cotes du Rhone Grenache Syrah

Lunar Apogé Zero Côtes-du-Rhône is made by Domaine des Carabiniers in the Southern Rhône, from biodynamically-farmed vines near Avignon. Crafted to be preservative-free, it’s 50% Grenache, 50% Syrah, fermented with natural yeasts and harvested at night to preserve freshness. Deep red in colour, the nose shows vibrant red fruits-raspberry, cherry-with hints of spice. On the palate: juicy red berry flavours, gentle pepper and clove tap into fine, supple tannins and balanced acidity, finishing clean with a touch of minerality. ABV ~13%. Though formal critical scores for “Zero” are limited, the Lunar Apogé range generally garners 85-90/100 from importers and retailers.
