About this product

Lightfoot Cliff Block Pinot Noir 2024 from Lightfoot & Sons in Gippsland is a compelling cool-coastal Pinot from the limestone-grown Cliff Block, built with aromatic lift, savoury depth and hidden power. Twenty percent new French oak adds shape and spice, while the fine fruit keeps the wine poised, elegant and expressive.

Violet, cherry and plum aromas lead into black cherry, dark plum and rhubarb, layered with mushroom, earth, tobacco, bitter orange and cedar. The 2024 Lightfoot Cliff Block Pinot Noir is full and textural for the variety, with firm tannin structure, bright acidity and a savoury complexity that opens beautifully after a short decant.

Serve Lightfoot Cliff Block Pinot Noir 2024 with roast duck, mushroom risotto, turkey with cranberry sauce or pork loin with lentils. Its earthy depth and savoury spice work beautifully with autumnal dishes, while the bright acidity brings freshness to richer flavours. This is a seriously good Gippsland Pinot for a special dinner.
