Henschke Keyneton Euphonium Shiraz Blend 2022 is a serious yet approachable Barossa/Eden Valley red, a beautifully composed blend of shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot from mature vines across both regions.

Deep crimson with ruby flashes, it opens with intense raspberry, blackberry and black plum alongside cassis, redcurrant and Satsuma plum, layered with violets, almond blossom, sage, bay leaf, vanilla pod, black pepper and baking spice. On the palate, the 2022 Henschke Keyneton Euphonium Shiraz Blend is concentrated but poised – dark forest fruits, kirsch, mulberry, bitter chocolate, Dutch cocoa and cigar‑box spice wrapped in bright acidity and fine‑grained, velvety tannins, finishing long with savoury herbs, paprika and roasted coffee tones.

It’s brilliant with roast lamb, ribeye, beef cheeks, venison, slow‑cooked ragù or grilled portobello mushrooms, and has the structure to cellar for 20–25 years.
