Di Giorgio’s Head in the Clouds Cabernet Franc 2022 from Coonawarra is a medium-bodied expression where the family’s imagination runs free, inspired by those from Abruzzo whose heads are said to be in the clouds. Vibrant red with purple hues, the nose delivers savoury cherries and ripe currants alongside damson plums, black cherries in tea syrup, lavender and sage leaf. The palate bursts with fresh cherries and cranberry, finishing with luscious spiciness and soft tannins alongside a wash of slinky acidity and dry, powdery tannins that provide food-friendly structure.

This Coonawarra Cabernet Franc pairs brilliantly with roasted vegetables where its savoury cherry notes complement earthy flavours, while charcuterie allows the wine’s cranberry and spice to shine through.
