Di Giorgio’s Lucindale Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 from the Limestone Coast is a full-bodied dry red expression where the minimalist winemaking approach allows the central Limestone Coast terroir to shine through with bold lively character. Deep red with purple hues, ripe black cherry and blackcurrant dominate the bouquet alongside distinctive peppermint and eucalypt notes, with cedar, nutmeg and lovely spicy oak adding complexity. Sweet fruit flavours flood the palate with blueberry, blackcurrant and peppermint characters, finishing with toasty vanilla oak that gives length and richness alongside softly textured tannins.

This Limestone Coast Cabernet pairs brilliantly with grilled lamb where its minty eucalypt notes complement charred meat beautifully, while beef Wellington allows the wine’s rich fruit and spicy oak to shine. Mature hard cheeses and hearty red meat casseroles also make ideal matches, with the wine’s full-bodied structure providing satisfying depth.

Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in French and American oak barrels for 18 months, this complex softly textured wine shows both approachable fruit character now and excellent cellaring potential.
