Bimbadgen Single Vineyard McDonalds Road Semillon 2023 is a bright, site-driven Hunter Valley classic from Bimbadgen, capturing the energy and precision of its Pokolbin vineyard in a light-bodied, cellar-worthy style. It is refreshingly pure now, with the trademark Hunter Valley line and drive to reward patient collectors.
Lemon zest, lime juice and crisp green apple lead the aromas, with lemongrass, white flowers and a subtle herbal mineral note in the background. Bimbadgen McDonalds Road Semillon 2023 is taut and mouth-watering, its concentrated citrus fruit carried by racy natural acidity into a long, clean finish.
Pair this Hunter Valley Semillon with freshly shucked oysters, kingfish ceviche, grilled whiting or salt-and-pepper squid. Its vibrant citrus acidity also slices beautifully through goat’s cheese, sushi and spicy Thai seafood, making it a brilliant warm-weather white for the table.
