This is a fresh and elegant example of Sicily’s great red. In the glass it is a deep red colour with purple tones and exudes flavours of red cherry and raspberry. The palate is true to the nose with primary red berry fruit flavours and a mineral-like acidity.

Its medium bodied profile is rounded off with subtle tannins and a spicy finish. Sicilian reds (unlike many of the wines from further north) are good to drink with or without food – but will always pair beautifully with a good wood-fired pizza! We usually like to chill it down slightly before serving.
