It has a crimson red color with a perfumed nose featuring aromas of Black Doris plum, sweet cherry, floral hints, subtle spices, and hazelnut. The palate is medium-bodied and vibrant, bursting with juicy red fruit flavors such as raspberry and plum, balanced by bright acidity and a delicate finish. It shows a bit of saddle-leather on the nose and light tannins, offering a beautifully balanced drinking experience. The 2023 vintage was wet and cool, giving the fruit great length and a hint of acidity. It pairs well with roasted turkey, pork belly, and root vegetables, and has been highly scored with 93 points by Sam Kim, Wine Orbit.
