Aptitude Macclesfield Nebbiolo 2024 is a refined, site-driven Adelaide Hills red from Greg Clack, capturing Nebbiolo’s haunting perfume and distinctive tannin in a lighter-weight, beautifully restrained style. This is a poised Australian Nebbiolo with real finesse, built for the table and worthy of a little patience.
Dried cherry, cranberry and raspberry mingle with rose petal, bitter orange, dried herbs and a subtle earthy note. The Aptitude Macclesfield Nebbiolo 2024 is compact and savoury through the palate, with firm suede-like tannins, fresh acidity and a fine oak touch bringing structure, grip and an elegantly persistent finish.
Serve Aptitude Macclesfield Nebbiolo 2024 with truffle risotto, porcini pasta, slow-braised beef cheeks, lamb shanks, duck ragu or aged pecorino. Its high-tannin, food-focused frame thrives with rich, earthy dishes, while its lifted red fruit brings freshness to every mouthful. Decant briefly and serve just below room temperature.
