Hentley Farm The Old Legend Grenache 2023, Hentley Farm, Barossa Valley. This is a beautifully fragrant, modern Barossa Grenache with lifted aromas of potpourri, dried herbs, violets, blueberry and sarsaparilla, wrapped around creamy red fruits and subtle Asian spice that really float out of the glass.
On the palate, The Old Legend Grenache 2023 Hentley Farm is all poise and detail – mouth–filling yet pure, with blue fruits, cherry, gentle earth and five–spice framed by layered, silky tannins and bright, fresh acidity that give a seamless, moreish finish. It is a cracking match for charcuterie, roast pork with fennel, herb–rubbed lamb, sticky glazed duck or a rich roast veggie and halloumi tray bake, making it a perfect option for long lunches and relaxed Barossa–style dinners.
