About this product
Adelina Watervale Riesling 2025 from Col McBryde’s Clare Valley estate is a compact, racy Riesling with intense citrus fruit, crushed-rock minerality and superb Watervale precision. Grown at 420 metres on limestone-rich soils, it delivers exhilarating freshness and a seriously compelling sense of place.
Tart green apple, fresh lime and pink grapefruit lead the aromatics, with lemon peel, aniseed, delicate florals and a saline chalkiness adding complexity. Adelina Watervale Riesling is bone-dry and electric, carrying its bright fruit along a taut acid line before finishing long, stony and mouth-watering.
Serve this Clare Valley Riesling well chilled with freshly shucked oysters, Thai green curry, ceviche or crispy-skinned whiting. Its laser-like acidity loves seafood, chilli and citrus, while its intensely mineral, dry finish makes it a brilliant aperitif and an even better wine to buy by the dozen.
