Teusner Joshua Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2025 from Teusner is a juicy, old-vine Barossa blend with serious charm, bringing together Grenache’s lift, Mataro’s savoury depth and Shiraz’s quiet muscle in a style that feels both relaxed and deeply expressive.
Expect red and dark berry fruit, cherry, spice, cured meats, dried flowers and a savoury, gamey edge, all carried on a bright, unoaked frame. The 2024 vintage notes point to intensity, detail and freshness, while earlier Joshua releases showed the kind of spicy, plum-driven, bright Barossa personality that makes this wine so moreish.
It is a ripper with barbecued lamb, charcuterie, roast chicken or slow-cooked pork, where the wine’s freshness and savoury detail will really come alive. Teusner Joshua Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2025 is the sort of blend that feels effortless at the table, yet still delivers plenty of depth, flavour and bang for buck.
