About this product
XO Wine Co Vino Bianco Cortese 2024 is a crisp, aromatic Adelaide Hills white from a single Ashton vineyard, bringing a distinctly Italian sense of freshness to one of Australia’s rare Cortese plantings. This is a seriously smart, small-batch alternative to Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio, with pristine fruit and fine mineral drive.
Peach, lemon and grapefruit aromas meet hints of honeysuckle and talc, before a saline, mouth-watering palate takes over. Half the XO Wine Co Vino Bianco Cortese is fermented in seasoned French oak and half in stainless steel, then lees stirred for six months to build a creamy texture without losing its bright, clean edge.
Serve XO Wine Co Vino Bianco Cortese 2024 with grilled calamari, garlicky prawns, fish tacos, sushi, pesto pasta or burrata with lemon and herbs. Its salty mineral finish and zesty acidity cut beautifully through seafood and rich olive-oil dishes, making it an exceptional warm-weather white for entertaining.
