Chateau La Nerthe Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc
Chateau La Nerthe Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2022 (6 Bottles) Rhone Valley, France
About this product
Chateau La Nerthe Châteauneuf‑du‑Pape Blanc 2022 is a generous yet finely poised southern Rhône white, layering orchard fruits, citrus and exotic notes over a creamy, subtly oaked frame. Certified organic estate fruit and a blend of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Bourboulenc give both richness and real freshness in the glass.
Aromatically, it shows pale yellow colour with green hints and an exuberant nose of pear, yellow peach and lemon, laced with white flowers, almond and a touch of anise and stony minerality. The palate is medium‑to‑full‑bodied and creamy, delivering flavours of pineapple, stone fruit and vanilla, with a fine line of citrus bitterness and spice (white pepper) that keeps the finish long, balanced and refreshing rather than heavy. It is harmonious, aromatic and ready to impress at the table now, with a few years’ comfortable cellaring ahead.
This Chateau La Nerthe Châteauneuf‑du‑Pape Blanc 2022 is superb with grilled fish (sea bream, sea bass), scallops, Bouillabaisse or richer seafood dishes, where its texture and freshness match beautifully. It also shines with veal scallopini, herb‑crusted white meats or Provençal‑style dishes featuring fennel and dill, and works very well alongside soft to semi‑hard cheeses.
