Thomas Hardy Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 is a powerhouse flagship cabernet, predominantly from Margaret River with a touch of McLaren Vale, built for serious cellaring and special‑occasion drinking. It’s full‑bodied, richly flavoured and very much in the classic, polished Aussie icon style.

The nose is loaded with cassis, blackberry, redcurrant and fresh plum, layered with bay leaf, cinnamon, tobacco and plenty of high‑quality, cedary oak. On the palate it’s concentrated and firmly structured, with red and blackcurrant, cassis, coffee, dark chocolate, tobacco leaf and a hint of green peppercorn wrapped in persuasive, fine yet plentiful tannins and a long, spicy finish.

Food‑wise, this Thomas Hardy Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 is made for grilled ribeye, lamb racks, slow‑braised beef short rib or rich mushroom dishes, and will also shine with aged cheddar or Gouda on a big night in. It’s drinking impressively now with a long decant but really deserves time in the cellar to unfurl all that depth and complexity over the next decade or more.
