Hentley Farm The Stray Grenache Shiraz 2024 from Hentley Farm in the Barossa Valley is a strikingly fragrant, modern red that bends the GSM rulebook with a splash of Zinfandel. Grenache leads the blend, bringing bright fruit and perfume to Shiraz depth and savoury complexity.
Turkish delight, rose petal and red cherry perfume the glass, followed by raspberry, mulberry, aniseed and warm spice. The palate is savoury and energetic, showing juicy red fruit, dark chocolate, dried herbs and fine-grained tannins, all lifted by bright acidity.
