About this product
Willunga 100 Tempranillo 2024 is a full-flavoured McLaren Vale red from Willunga 100, bringing Spanish soul to South Australian sunshine with dark fruit, savoury herbs and a confident, food-ready frame. Fragrant yet generous, it is a cracking choice for drinkers chasing a polished alternative to Shiraz.
Dark cherry, mulberry and fresh plum flow from the glass, layered with red liquorice, pepper, bay leaf and flowering thyme. The Willunga 100 2024 Tempranillo adds intriguing musk, cola, boysenberry and sarsaparilla notes as it opens. It is richly flavoured and smooth, with fresh acidity and fine tannins giving the palate length and shape.
Serve Willunga 100 Tempranillo 2024 lightly chilled with chorizo and prawn paella, chargrilled lamb skewers, smoky pork ribs or mushroom pizza.
